I had my baby shower at the Purple Emerald today. Catered for 40-ish people and everyone bought their own drinks. The outdoor space was perfect, the staff were amazing and so caring. Catering prices are totally reasonable and the food was so good. Clean bathrooms and staff were totally on top of COVID measures. The cocktails here are impeccable, even though I haven't had one in forever, all my guests loved them. The beer lines are clean and they know how to serve a pint (unusual compared to most cocktail places in Melbourne). Highly recommend this place for functions as well as a fun late night drink, so glad the owner is now also opening a Chapel St venue 🖤

The bar staff were so very friendly and the cocktails were amazing. Definitely a place we will be returning to! A wonderful atmosphere with the couches and movies playing in the background.
