Perched on a hill in Bulli, the Northern Illawarra Uniting Church is a historic sandstone building that has been a community cornerstone since its opening in 1865. Known as the "Chapel on the Hill," it has witnessed significant local events, including the ringing of its bell to celebrate the end of World War I in 1918. The church features beautiful stained glass and leadlight windows, some installed in the 1920s, adding to its architectural charm. Today, it continues to serve as a place of worship and community gathering.
