Established in 2021, it partners with local farmers and producers to foster economic growth and promote sustainable farming practices. The Collective launched a Farmers, Growers & Producers Market in February 2022, providing a platform for local vendors to showcase their products. In March 2022, it expanded to offer a Commercial Kitchen and business advisory services, supporting community members in developing locally grown food products. The Collective also hosts workshops on safe food handling, mental health, environmental sustainability, and food waste reduction. By nurturing local talent and resources, The Murrurundi Collective aims to create a sustainable lifestyle and diverse economic opportunities for the community.
