The Majestic Theatre

Nestled in Pomona's historic heart, The Majestic Theatre is Queensland's longest-running picture theatre, continuously operating since 1921. This heritage-listed venue uniquely showcases silent films accompanied by live performances on its rare 1937 Compton Organ, one of only four in Australia. Beyond its cinematic offerings, the theatre hosts a diverse array of live events, including concerts, dance parties, and community fundraisers. With a capacity of 170 and facilities like a licensed bar and commercial kitchen, it serves as a versatile space for various functions. Managed by the dedicated volunteers of Pomona Arts Inc., The Majestic Theatre stands as a cherished cultural landmark in the Noosa Hinterland.
