
Located within Bowden's vibrant Plant 4 precinct, The Lost Loaf is an artisan bakery renowned for its handcrafted sourdough bread, which undergoes a unique 36-hour fermentation process to develop rich flavors and a soft texture. Their selection includes French viennoiserie made with creamy Lescure butter, such as plain and almond croissants, custard-filled croissants, pain au chocolat, and fruit danishes. Additional offerings feature seasonal tarts, cakes, biscuits, doughnuts, filled baguette sandwiches, and sourdough toast served with a variety of jams and spreads. The bakery operates four days a week, selling only what is baked that day.
