Great coffee, wonderful food with generous portion sizes, attentive staff. 10/10

I came in for a toastie, no prices on the board but was shocked when the cashier told me it would be $17. I reluctantly paid and thought it might be a large portion, but was not happy at all when I received it. A tiny toastie with some crappy vegan cheese, a tiny bit of pesto and two slices of tomato. Something I could have made 10x cheaper and 1000x better at home. Average at best.

This cafe never disappoints. I keep coming here over and over and over again. Great menu, generous portions. Delightful waitress. Yummy coffee.

Amazing!!

Found this place while wandering around the area. It looked nice so I stopped for a late breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed the Salmon Benedict. 2 poached eggs on house made potato röstis with smoked salmon, béarnaise and crispy capers. WOW! What a delightful meal. Every mouthful was a taste sensation. The team at Hot Poppy are friendly, accommodating and gentle. 5 stars. A+. Can't wait to return. Thanks for brekky!

Staffs behaviour and service the way they do their customers is so dull and unwelcoming rather say uncomfortable got a $17 ham and toastie here that I’m pretty sure you can make it with $1.40 at home

Staff were amazing with accommodations and sorting out miscommunications. Staff were professional.

We went to Hot Poppy on a whim and we were so impressed! We were greeted by a very accommodating gentleman who was more polite. The food and drinks were amazing and all the staff so accommodating to our needs. It was pouring with rain and we moved from in to out side then back in without an issue. Would highly recommend and this cafe has made it to the top of my list.

Amazing Cafe and amazing ambience. Loved the food every time I have been there and now the drinks are just the cherry on top. Beautiful cafe. Absolutely recommend

Haven't tried their food as of yet but am leaning too do so in the future, the coffee ☕ is fantastic and service is top notch and much positivity vibes coming from the shop itself with bubbly 😊 workers
