Discover The Heights, a remarkable 1855 prefabricated German timber house, the largest of its kind in Victoria. Originally assembled for businessman Charles Ibbotson, the residence showcases a blend of 19th-century architecture and 1930s modernizations by architect Harold Bartlett. Explore the beautifully maintained gardens, featuring a rose arbour, formal bedding layouts, and a carriage drive. The property also includes unique 19th-century outbuildings such as stables, a water tower, a groom's cottage, and a dovecote, each offering a glimpse into the past. The Heights is open on Sundays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with winter hours on the last Sunday of the month in June, July, and August. Admission fees are $15 for adults, $10 for concessions, $5 for children, and $30 for families (2 adults and 2 children). National Trust members receive free general entry. Tickets can be purchased on arrival.
