The Genesian Theatre Company, established in 1944, is a vibrant community theatre in Sydney's inner west. In December 2024, it inaugurated its new venue at 2B Gordon Street, Rozelle, transforming St Joseph's Church Hall into a 130-seat playhouse. The theatre features a bar, foyer, backstage dressing rooms, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting control booth, with wheelchair and walker access. The inaugural production, "An Inspector Calls," opened in January 2025. The company continues to offer a diverse range of performances, classes, and workshops, enriching the local cultural landscape.
