Located at 99 Buckley Street in Morwell, The Gathering Place is a community centre dedicated to fostering cultural connection and self-determination among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the LaTrobe Valley. The centre offers a variety of community-led programs, including groups for Elders, women, and youth, as well as free community lunches and artist sessions. In partnership with Foodbank Victoria, it provides food parcels to those in need every Wednesday and Friday. Operating Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm, The Gathering Place is a welcoming and inclusive space for all.
