
Located within the Kenneth Myer Building at the University of Melbourne, The Dax Centre is dedicated to promoting mental health and wellbeing through art. As custodians of the Cunningham Dax Collection, it houses over 15,000 artworks created by individuals with lived experiences of mental illness and trauma. The centre offers a dynamic program of exhibitions, including the current "Re/Connect" featuring recent RMIT School of Art graduates, and provides educational programs for secondary and tertiary students to foster understanding and empathy towards mental health issues.
