Established in 1994, The Cyclone Cafe is a unique establishment in Parap, Northern Territory, housed in a building constructed from materials salvaged after Cyclone Tracy. The exterior and décor feature rusty corrugated iron, referencing the flying tin that posed the greatest danger during the cyclone. Inside, the café offers a friendly space serving excellent coffee, widely acclaimed as the best in Darwin. Meals are made to order with fresh local ingredients, and there is a wide range of gluten-free and vegetarian options. Known to locals as an institution, if you haven't visited this little gem, put it on your must-see list.
