Located in the heart of Brisbane's Meanjin, The Curators’ Theatre offers a bespoke, boutique performance space known as "The Barney." This intimate venue hosts innovative productions, including the "Post Dramatic Troy Disorder" trilogy, which reimagines classic Greek plays with contemporary themes. The theatre's aesthetic combines text-based theatre with highly theatrical scenography, creating visually dynamic live performances. Co-founded in 2017 by Michael Beh and Peter Crees, The Curators’ Theatre brings together emerging and senior artists to explore shared humanity through bold and evocative storytelling.
