The Circle

The Circle is a welcoming, non-judgmental venue in West Footscray, dedicated to providing a diverse space for alternative lifestyles. It hosts community meetings, workshops, live performances, art installations, and social events. The venue is available for bookings that align with its purpose and ethos. Operating hours are Monday to Thursday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to midnight. The Circle is a strictly no alcohol, no drugs, over 18 venue. It offers off-street visitor parking and ample on-street parking, with bicycle storage available onsite. The venue is an easy walk from the local train station (Tottenham). Visitors are asked to be respectful of neighbors and the general area by arriving and departing quietly. A full list of rules is available at reception and is also on display in the main space. If attending for the first time, a member of the crew can give a tour of the space and provide a rundown of the rules and etiquette. No shoes are permitted on any of the gym mats or rugs provided in the venue. Cloaking facilities and a change room are available. No food or beverage is permitted on the main floor or mats (other than water bottles); please use the tables and chairs provided when eating. Respect for everyone and everything in the venue is expected; do not touch anything that doesn't belong to you. Antisocial behavior will not be tolerated. Smoking is not permitted inside the building; an allocated smoking area is available outside. The Circle reserves the right to deny entry to, or eject, any individual(s) without explanation or refund. Please report any issues, hazards, or incidents to venue crew immediately.
