The Church on The Hill

Perched atop a hill in Old Noarlunga, The Church on The Hill is a historic site offering panoramic views of the Onkaparinga River and surrounding landscapes. Established in 1850, the church was constructed using stone quarried from the nearby riverbanks, hauled up the steep incline by bullock teams. The adjacent cemetery, established in 1850, serves as the final resting place for early settlers and pioneering families who shaped the region. Today, the site continues to offer dignified interment services, providing families a place of meaningful memorial, today and for generations to come.
