Located at 50 View Street in Bendigo, The Capital is a historic performing arts centre that hosts over 200 performances and exhibitions annually. Originally built as the Sandhurst Masonic Hall in 1873, the venue features a grand façade with towering Corinthian columns and an interior restored to its original Victorian grandeur. The 480-seat Capital Theatre offers a magnificent auditorium for a variety of performances, while the Banquet Room and Bendigo Bank Theatre provide elegant spaces for smaller events. The venue also offers facilities for conferences, workshops, and weddings.
