Established in 1846 by Alexander Balcombe, the homestead showcases a collection of Napoleonic memorabilia, reflecting the family's historical ties. Surrounding the homestead are expansive gardens, a wildlife sanctuary, and wetlands, providing visitors with scenic walking trails and opportunities for wildlife observation. The property also features a visitor centre, picnic areas with free BBQs, and a nursery offering native plants. Please note, the homestead is currently undergoing extensive restoration and is expected to reopen in 2025.
