The Bike Shed at Blackwood

Located at 266 Main Road, Blackwood, The Bike Shed is a community initiative where volunteers refurbish donated bicycles to support those in need. Operating every Monday from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, the group focuses on providing safe, roadworthy bikes to refugees, First Nations people, and other disadvantaged individuals. They also recycle old and discarded bikes, offering them for sale to fund their activities. Additionally, The Bike Shed conducts workshops at local primary schools, teaching students how to maintain and care for their bikes. The group welcomes new members and appreciates donations of bikes and financial support.
