The Bearded Tit is a vibrant queer bar and creative space in Redfern, Sydney, known for its eclectic decor and welcoming atmosphere. Since its opening in 2014, it has been a hub for the artistic, queer, and local communities, offering a rotating program of performances, live music, and exhibitions. The venue has been a sanctuary for queer, POC, and other historically underrepresented communities, showcasing Sydney's most exciting emerging creatives as well as artists from beyond our shores. As of June 2025, The Bearded Tit is set to close its doors in November after 11 years of fostering joy, creativity, and resilience within the community.
