The Augathella Spiegeltent, located at 166 Bay Terrace in Wynnum, Queensland, is a unique performance venue that blends 19th-century Belgian construction techniques with an Australian shearing shed aesthetic. Originally commissioned in 2008 for Queensland's 150th anniversary celebrations, it was relocated from Augathella to Wynnum in 2024. This historic Spiegeltent now serves as the heart of the Wynnum Fringe Festival, hosting a variety of events, including the Wynnum B&S Ball, which revives a cherished Queensland tradition. The venue offers a distinctive setting for arts and cultural performances, contributing to the vibrant community spirit of the bayside area.
