Nestled on the traditional lands of the Anaiwan people, Thalgarrah Environmental Education Centre offers immersive environmental education programs for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Situated approximately 18 km from Armidale's CBD, the centre occupies the former Thalgarrah Public School site, adjacent to the Swallowfield Wildlife Refuge and the Gara River. These natural settings provide diverse environments of both natural and cultural significance, including one of the few remaining remnant eucalypt woodlands on the New England Tablelands. Thalgarrah also offers support to teachers and schools in Environmental Education and Education for Sustainability.
