Templers

Templers, located on the Horrocks Highway north of Gawler, South Australia, is a charming town with a rich history. Established in the mid-19th century, it was named after William Templer, who, along with his wife Martha, managed the North Star Hotel from 1846 to 1878. The town's heritage is highlighted by the Mount Bethel Wesleyan Jubilee Chapel, built in 1863, which served as a focal point for local worship.
