Perched at 750 meters above sea level along Tawonga Gap Road, the Tawonga Gap Lookout offers panoramic views of the Kiewa Valley and the Kiewa River, with Mount Bogong, Victoria's highest peak at 1986 meters, in the distance. This popular picnic spot provides ample space for tourist coaches and caravans. Visitors can also observe hang gliders and paragliders launching from Mount Emu across the valley.
