TarraWarra Museum of Art

Nestled in the picturesque Yarra Valley, TarraWarra Museum of Art offers an immersive experience into modern and contemporary Australian art. Established in 2003 by philanthropists Eva and Marc Besen, the museum showcases a significant collection of Australian artworks from the 1930s to the present day. The award-winning gallery, designed by Allan Powell, provides an intimate setting for visitors to engage with iconic pieces. In March 2025, the Eva and Marc Besen Centre opened, featuring visible art storage of over 300 works, a learning centre, and a performance space. The museum's serene grounds, adorned with sculptures and native bushland, offer a tranquil retreat for art enthusiasts.
