Taroona Neighbourhood Garden offers a sunny open space where local residents cultivate organic produce, learn gardening skills, and engage in outdoor activities. Established in 2007 with support from the Kingborough Council, the garden features 50 individual plots, two communal raised beds, and shared perimeter areas, including a herb garden along Chiton Chase. Members participate in monthly working bees, crop swaps, and social events, fostering a strong community spirit. The garden is located in Taroona Park, which also includes a playground, dog exercise area, and sports clubs.
