The Tarcutta Memorial Hall, located at 26 Sydney Street, Tarcutta, NSW 2652, is a historic venue that has been a cornerstone of the community since its opening on November 28, 1928. Originally built to honor local soldiers who served in World War I, the hall also commemorates those from World War II and the Vietnam War. The building features white marble honor rolls on both sides of the entrance, listing the names of the fallen from these conflicts. In October 2023, the hall underwent significant upgrades, including the installation of split system air conditioners, external painting, floorboard treatment, lighting enhancements, and the addition of solar panels. These improvements ensure the hall remains a vibrant and functional space for community gatherings and events. The hall also hosts monthly village markets, offering a variety of community-led stalls featuring homegrown products, plants, homewares, jewelry, pre-loved goods, books, and more. Food options, including a barbecue, are available during these events.
