Nestled along the serene Lane Cove River in Riverview, the 1st Tambourine Bay Sea Scouts have been fostering youth development since 1960. Their Scout hall offers a spacious venue with an 80-person capacity, a waterfront deck with ramps, a fully equipped kitchen, and accessible facilities. The hall is available for hire, making it an ideal location for various events. The Scouts engage in a comprehensive program that includes water-based activities like sailing, kayaking, and canoeing, as well as camping, bushcraft, environmental care, and community service. They participate in numerous local, regional, state, national, and international events, such as Scout Hike, State Rally, Cuboree, and both Australian and International Jamborees. Fundraising efforts, including their annual Christmas tree sales, support these activities. The group acknowledges the Cammeraygal people as the Traditional Owners of the land on which they operate.
