Nestled in Springbrook National Park, Tallanbana Picnic Area provides a serene spot with picnic tables, a shelter shed, and public toilets. A well-maintained walking track through regrowth forest connects it to the Twin Falls Circuit. The trail begins in an area once cleared, now featuring a canopy of Black Wattle and an understorey of rainforest. As the path descends, New England Ash and Blue Mountains Ash dominate the lower sections. Notably, the Blue Mountains Ash, identifiable by its 'candlestick' bark, reaches its northern distribution limit here.
