Located just outside Albury, the National Environment Centre (NEC) is a 180-hectare farm offering practical courses in sustainability and environmental management. Students gain hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, ecological practices, and responsible land care. The centre features purpose-built facilities, including laboratories, glasshouses, and specialised preparation rooms for rural science. The on-site Green Gate Organic Farm focuses on sustainable and ethical farming practices, cultivating seasonal crops and promoting soil health. The farm shop, open most Thursday afternoons, sells lamb, pork, honey, vegetables, and flour to the public.
