Established in 1974, Tacking Point Surf Life Saving Club is dedicated to providing lifesaving services, nipper activities, and social functions for the Port Macquarie community. Located at Lighthouse Beach, the club offers a licensed bar on Fridays from 4 pm to 7 pm and Sundays from 3 pm to 6 pm. The venue is also available for hire for functions and parties throughout the year. In 2024, the club was honored as Club of the Year at the Mid North Coast awards.
