Nestled just off the highway a few minutes north of the New South Wales/Victoria border, Table Top Hotel, formerly known as Ettamogah Pub, is an iconic Australian establishment. Built in 1987 by businessman Lindsay Cooper, the pub features exaggerated, wacky proportions with sloping walls and distinctive architectural style. The fun Aussie theme continues both inside and out with a truck on the roof, a crashed airplane in the garden, and lots of quirky signs and decorations. The grounds are suitable for those caravanning through to pitching a tent or rolling out a swag (and dogs are welcome). Camping is free when dining or purchasing drinks at the Table Top Hotel; otherwise, a small fee of $10 is payable at the front bar. Limited powered sites are available; if you want a powered site, please phone 0448 655 588; if unpowered, just turn up, we have plenty of rooms. Ettamogah Village truly is a family-friendly environment with good meals and cold refreshments. Table Top Hotel is open every weekday between 11:00 am to 8 pm and every weekend from 10 am to late for all your meals and refreshments. The original pub is manned by volunteers every weekend between 11:30 am - 2 pm; for you to experience Australiana yesteryear.
