Taabinga

Taabinga Homestead, established in 1846, stands as one of Queensland's oldest continuously inhabited rural homes. Located near Kingaroy, it operates as a working cattle property, offering visitors a glimpse into historic pastoral life. The homestead features self-contained cottages set amidst gardens, with outbuildings including a dairy, blacksmith's shop, and butcher's shop. Guests can explore walking trails to observe native wildlife, visit the on-site cemetery, or watch cattle work in action. Group visits are available, featuring guided tours and morning or afternoon tea. The property is owned and managed by Libby Leu, whose family has resided there since 1887.
