The Sutherland Shire Gamers Club offers a vibrant community for tabletop gaming enthusiasts, hosting regular sessions every Friday night from 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm at the Sylvania Heights Community and Youth Club. The club's two dedicated rooms are equipped with five tables each, complemented by an extensive collection of terrain, catering to a variety of games. Visitors are welcome to join in on the night, with opportunities to organize games in advance via their Meetup group or Facebook page. Beyond regular gaming nights, the club organizes themed events and occasionally meets on weekends for larger games or all-in brawls. Additionally, they host major wargaming conventions such as MOAB (Mother of All Battles) during the October long weekend in Sydney and run the Second Hand Stall at CANCON in Canberra each January. In 2022, the club also began running ShireCon.
