Sundown Resources Reserve, located on the Queensland–New South Wales border, is a rugged wilderness area featuring sharp ridges and steep-sided gorges. The Severn River and its tributaries, along with diverse birdlife and remnants of pastoral and mining heritage, can be explored via maintained walking tracks, challenging remote walks, or the four-wheel-drive (4WD) track. The reserve offers facilities such as campgrounds, toilets, showers, and opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and swimming. It is accessible by 4WD vehicles.
