Located just 10 minutes west of Perth's central business district, Subiaco Arts Centre is a versatile performance venue nestled within the picturesque Subiaco Theatre Gardens. Originally constructed as Subiaco City Hall in 1956, the building was transformed into a dedicated arts venue in 1984 and underwent major refurbishment in 2006. The centre features three performance spaces: the Main Auditorium with 305 seats, the intimate Studio seating 119, and the stunning outdoor amphitheatre in the Theatre Gardens. It is home to resident companies Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company and Barking Gecko Arts, offering a diverse range of performances and workshops. Visitors can enjoy award-winning hospitality at the Foyer Bar, with interval drinks and snacks available, and explore dining options in the surrounding area. Parking is available on-site, with free parking after 6pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. The venue is accessible by public transport, with bus and train services nearby.
