Studio One, located within the Esme Timbery Creative Practice Lab at UNSW Sydney, is an intimate black box theatre accommodating up to 58 people. Its flexible seating can be reconfigured to suit various performances, including theatre, comedy, installations, and screenings. The space features an accessible lighting grid and sound system, making it ideal for contemporary art forms, low-budget theatrical productions, and small film shoots. Managed by the Creative Practice Lab, Studio One is available for external hire, offering a versatile environment for diverse creative projects.
