Stawell Town Hall, located at 63-65 Main Street, is a significant cultural and architectural landmark in Stawell. Designed by Stawell Shire Engineer John D'Alton in 1872, the building showcases a blend of interwar Art Deco and Victorian Classical styles. Its front section features a five-bayed composition with a central arcuated portico, round-arched tripartite windows, a circular balcony, and an Art Deco clock tower adorned with an Ionic aedicule, triple-arched corbelling, and figures of cast miners. The tower chimes at 9:00 am, noon, and 3:00 pm, accompanied by the tune "With A Swag Upon His Shoulder." The hall serves as a venue for various community events and is home to the Northern Grampians Shire Council's administrative offices.
