Stansbury Jetty

Stansbury Jetty, constructed in 1905, extends 308 meters into the Gulf St Vincent, offering a prime spot for fishing enthusiasts. During summer, anglers can catch blue swimmer crabs, while nighttime fishing under the jetty lights yields squid, mullet, garfish, tommies, and snook. The jetty replaced an earlier structure that lacked sufficient depth for large steamer ships. Amenities include boating facilities, parking, picnic areas, and public toilets, making it a family-friendly destination.
