St John the Baptist Anglican Church, established in 1860, is a Gothic Revival landmark in Mudgee, NSW. Designed by colonial architects Weaver and Kemp, the church features face brickwork, a slate roof, and a fine timber ceiling with exposed trusses. Its lancet-shaped windows, pivot-action roundels, and exceptional stained glass enhance its architectural beauty. The church houses a rare 1881 Brindley and Forster pipe organ and a cast steel bell from Sheffield, both donated by church warden R. White. The church hosts regular services and monthly markets, fostering community engagement.
