Nestled in a heritage-listed 1850s building, the Speakeasy Theatre at 522 Flinders Street offers an immersive experience into Melbourne's vaudeville era. The Main Theatre, adorned with lush red velvet drapes and gold-embossed wallpaper, seats 60 guests in a cabaret style and features three distinct stages: the Proscenium, Piano, and Runway, each equipped with its own lighting. For more intimate performances, the Vault Theatre accommodates up to 25 guests, showcasing Edwardian-era furnishings and its own Vault bar. The venue also boasts a wine and cocktail bar, a large dressing room with multiple hair and makeup stations, a green room, and a boudoir lounge. Please note, due to the building's heritage, the Main Theatre is accessible via stairs only, while the Vault Theatre is located on street level and accessible via Mercantile Place for those with mobility access requirements.
