Southern Rockhounds, established in 1966, is a vibrant gem and mineral club located at 17 Gerald Court, Christie Downs, South Australia. The club offers a welcoming environment for individuals of all ages to explore and develop skills in lapidary, faceting, wire wrapping, silver work, carving, and beading. Regular workshops are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, providing members with hands-on experience in transforming raw stones into polished jewelry pieces. Monthly meetings occur on the first and third Mondays, fostering a sense of community and shared passion.
