Sorrento Museum

Nestled in a historic limestone building from 1876, the Sorrento Museum showcases the rich heritage of the Nepean Peninsula. Operated by the Nepean Historical Society, the museum's extensive collection includes documents, photos, paintings, and artifacts that narrate the area's history, from the Boon Wurrung people to early European settlers. Highlights feature indigenous microliths, convict-era leg irons, shipwreck relics, and an original furnished limeburner's cottage. The museum is open on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, with admission fees of $5 for adults and $2 for teenagers.
