
Sorell Creek is a rural locality in Tasmania's Derwent Valley, approximately 6 kilometers east of New Norfolk. The area is characterized by its proximity to the Derwent River, which forms its northern boundary, and the Sorell Creek watercourse, contributing to its southern boundary. The Lyell Highway (A10) traverses the locality from east to west, providing access to the region. As of the 2016 census, Sorell Creek had a population of 89 residents.
