Nestled among towering Norfolk pine trees, Somerville Auditorium offers a unique outdoor venue for events and gatherings. Conceived in 1927 by historian William Somerville, this "tree cathedral" provides a picturesque setting for weddings, private events, and the Perth Festival's Lotterywest Film Season from November to April. With seating for 1,000 on deckchair-style seats and 200 on the grass, guests can enjoy films under the stars. The venue features a comprehensive bar and offers a variety of dinner options, snacks, ice creams, and coffee. It also hosts the annual "In the Pines" music festival organized by RTR FM.
