Established in 1960, Somerton Surf Life Saving Club is dedicated to ensuring beach safety along the Somerton Park coastline. The club's patrols cover the area from Brighton Jetty to The Broadway, Glenelg South, on weekends and public holidays between October and April. Members can enhance their lifesaving skills through various qualifications, including the Bronze Medallion and Surf Rescue Certificate.
