Nestled in the heart of Travancore, So & So offers a warm, community-focused atmosphere with vintage and repurposed furnishings, including a front bench crafted from an old balance beam and tables made from salvaged timber. The dog-friendly outdoor garden features picnic benches surrounded by pot plants, watering cans, and pallets, creating a welcoming space that feels like visiting a friend's house. The menu boasts hearty sandwiches, such as the Blacksmith with braised beef brisket, crushed peas, Dijon mustard, and caramelised onion, and The Lumberjack featuring espresso-roasted pork shoulder with apple slaw and horseradish cream. Other offerings include slow-cooked lamb shoulder with bean ragù and hummus, baked eggs with red-lentil dhal, and a simple cheese-and-leek toastie.
