Shri Shiva Vishnu Temple

Nestled in Carrum Downs, the Shri Shiva Vishnu Temple stands as the largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere. Established in 1994 by the Hindu Society of Victoria, it spans over 15 acres and features traditional South Indian architecture. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and houses numerous deities, including Devi Amman, Shiva, Ganesha, and Hanuman. Visitors can participate in daily pooja ceremonies, cultural events, and festivals. The on-site Cultural Centre offers a library, heritage museum, educational facilities, and a vegetarian café, enhancing the spiritual and cultural experience.
