Shore Leave Festival, held annually in Geraldton, celebrates the Mid West region's rich maritime heritage, world-class seafood, and vibrant culture. The festival's signature event, the Abrolhos Long Table Lunch, offers a unique dining experience on East Wallabi Island, featuring multi-course seafood feasts prepared by renowned Western Australian chefs. The Helm, located on Geraldton's foreshore, serves as the festival's main hub, offering food and beverage vendors, live music, family-friendly craft workshops, and stunning sunset views. Additional events include the Mid West Paddock to Plate at Yanget Farm, the Mid West Food Marketplace, and guided tours to Kalbarri and the Chapman Valley, providing behind-the-scenes access to local producers, small breweries, and artisans. Shore Leave Festival is presented by Tourism Geraldton Mid West and supported by the Western Australian Government.
