Share Shed Bassendean is a community-driven initiative offering a "library of things" where members can borrow a variety of useful, yet infrequently used, items at no cost. Operating out of the Bassendean Youth Services Centre, the Share Shed promotes a circular economy by reducing waste and fostering a culture of sharing. Membership is free and open to residents of Bassendean, Ashfield, and Eden Hill, with a commitment to volunteer at least once every four months. Open on Saturday mornings from 8:30 to 10:30 for item collection and drop-off, the Share Shed is run entirely by local volunteers dedicated to building a strong, resilient community.
