Nestled on five acres bordered by pristine forest and the tranquil Severn River, Severn River Cottages offers three private cottages, each with an attached carport, outdoor fireplace, and undercover patio overlooking unique property aspects. Indoors, guests enjoy a fireplace, electric blankets, fans, heaters, coffee machine, television, and DVDs. The one-bedroom cottages (Orchard and Catbird) accommodate up to two guests, featuring a generous ensuite, queen-size bed, and well-equipped kitchenette. The two-bedroom cottage (Frog Hollow) accommodates up to five guests, with a full-size kitchen and riverfront location. Guests can enjoy the peace and splendid nature, including kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, parrots, catbirds, kookaburras, and more. Canoeing on the Severn River is available, or guests can simply sit and enjoy the slow flow. The cottages are perfectly positioned with a short drive to cellar-door wineries, National Parks, and ten minutes to Stanthorpe. Severn River Cottages is approximately three hours’ drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
