Established in 1904, Semaphore Bowling Club is one of the oldest clubs in the district, offering three excellent turf greens and a spacious clubhouse. Located near the beach, it provides an ideal setting for lawn bowling year-round. The club participates in the Metropolitan Bowls Association, fielding teams in Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday pennant competitions. Night Owls bowls are played on Tuesday and Thursday nights during summer. The venue is available for hire, accommodating up to 100 guests, and features a fully stocked bar, kitchen, and BBQ facilities.
